Intimate Destination Wedding in Grand Teton National Park
Heike and Clay traveled all the way from Texas with their family and friends to get married in Grand Teton National Park. These mountains hold a special place in their heart because it was where they went on their very first backpacking trip together, and now it’s the place where they started their lives together! They were married in The Chapel of the Transfiguration, which has a stunning view of the Grand Teton. Their ceremony was filled with sweet music and lots of love! After they sealed the deal, we got to go around to a few different locations in the park to capture some print-worthy images with probably the most stunning backdrop anyone could ask for.
We started at Taggart Lake Trailhead. This is a really cool view of the mountains, and is great for bridals because it’s incredibly easy to get to! Then we headed over to Mormon Row, which is an awesome place for portraits. It features several historical buildings, including a beautiful barn nestled right in front of the Tetons! And we finished at Schwabacher’s landing, which has one of the most classic, straight on views of the mountains. Along with a beautiful river and lots of trees. If you’re ever looking for places to take photos in this area, these are my three most recommended!
After we captured those special, just married portraits, the happy couple went to meet up with their friends and family to celebrate! It was such a beautiful day, and I’m so happy for Heike and Clay!
